Pad Holding Frame for Filter Media

A Pad Holding Frame is manufactured from galvanised steel and can include a retaining mesh and face clip allowing the filter media to be held in place. Metal Pad Frames are used as a replacement for glass or synthetic panel filters, and in kitchen canopies to remove the need for cleaning grease filters. Pad Frame Description

The Pad Holding Frame is ideal for reducing filter costs where disposable panel filters are normally used.

The pad holding frame retains a disposable media pad (either glass fibre or synthetic media) or a washable media (reticulated polyurethane foam). This type of system removes the need to dispose of the whole filter when only the core element of the filter needs to be disposed of, thus providing the most economic solutions in terms of storage, handling and disposal.

Application for Filter Media Pad Frame

The Pad Frame Filter is ideal in most applications where frequent replacement of filters is necessary, providing an inexpensive solution to that requirement.

Metal Pad Holding Frames also provide a strong moisture resistant surrounding where high moisture can be an issue for standard card framed filters.

Finally, having a pad frame which you can keep and reuse, when the core media is full and dirty, allows for a more environmentally friendly solution to the regular cardboard framed filters.

Metal Pad Holding Frame Construction

The Pad Frame Filter is available in Galvanised or Stainless Steel, Galvanised being the most popular. Mitred joints ensure physical stability and accuracy to the finished product. Then a rigid grid on the downstream side of the filter stops the pad being taken down stream. Finally a hinged face clip can be added to the air on face which is simply unclipped to enable replacement of the media pad.

Fold flat handles can also be fitted as an optional extra if required.

Available in a range of standard sizes and also produced to almost any practical size. Various depths available.
