Glass Fibre Media Description
Glass Fibre Media is a resilient continuously spun glass fibre with a graduated density, and is further enhanced with a coating of anti-dusting agent. Providing an inexpensive solution for medium to low level air filtration, while providing low resistance to air flow and high dust holding capacity.
The media can be ordered to the required size as cut pads, or as a complete roll which can be cut to size.
Applications for Glass Fibre Media
Glass media is great as a general pre or main dust filter for course particles in heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems (HVAC), this is normally paired with a cardboard frame as a panel filter, or with a metal pad holding frame to reduce waist.
Glass Fibre media can be paired with one of our pad holding frames to crate an easily reusable full sized filter.
The metal pad holding frame can retain a disposable glass fibre media cut pad. This type of system makes it easy to remove the disposablke media while also removing the need to dispose of the whole filter when only the core element of the filter needs to be disposed of, thus providing the most economic solutions in terms of storage, handling and disposal.
