Poly Foam Media Description
Polyurethane Foam (Poly Foam Media) is a porous filter media available in various different pores per inch (PPI) 20ppi, 30ppi and 45ppi. The more pores in the Polyfoam Media the more dust holding capacity, and higher the grade. However the airflow will drop with the higher ppi and thicknesses.
Polyurethane Foam Media can be bought in custom cut pad sizes, or bought as a 1 x 2 meter roll which can be easily cut to size using heavy duty scissors or a knife.
Applications for Polyurethane Foam
Polyurethane Foam is easily washable and reusable for a long life span. This makes it a very useful filter media for fan coil units and as a primary dust filter for sensitive electronic control panels and computers.
Polyurethane Foam can be paired with one of our pad holding frames to crate an easily washable full sized filter.
The metal pad holding frame retains a disposable washable media pad (polyurethane foam). This type of system makes it easy to remove and clean the washable poly foam media while also removing the need to dispose of the whole filter when only the core element of the filter needs to be disposed of, thus providing the most economic solutions in terms of storage, handling and disposal.
