Access Doors and Panels for Ducts
Various styles of access doors are available to allow for duct cleaning and routine hygiene maintenance and are suitable for circular and rectangular ducting. Oval Access Panels are manufactured from galvanised pressed steel, these spiral duct access doors are available in various door sizes to suit diameters of spiral ducting from 100mm to 900mm. Square / Rectangular are available up to 500 x 500mm and are also available in a Fire Rating.

Fire Resistant Tab Access Doors
Fire Resistant Tab Access Doors meet the requirement of HVCA DW144 specification regarding air leakage criteria. These doors have been included in Fire Duct tests for fire resistance in accordance with BS 476 Part 24:1987, and have been assessed by the BRE Centre for Fire Resistance, as suitable for incorporation into a fire resistant ductwork system for periods of up to 2 hours Stability & Integrity.

Coating: FFC 1 Intumescent.
Colour: RAL2001 (Orang Brown)
Panels: Galv. Steel BS EN 10327: 2004 DX51 Z275
Door Gasket: Ceramic Fibre
Frame Gasket: FFC Intumescent Tape.
Insulation: Cafco TD Board (155Kg/m3)
Rivet Type: Steel Rivet
You must ensure that:
*The Correct access door has been selected for the type of fire resistant duct into which it is to be fitted.
*Installation of the access door will not affect the stability or integrity of the duct system.
*When installed every 4th tab must be mechanically secured to the host duct with steel fixings.
*A bead of FFC intumescent sealant should be applied around the frame to duct joint.
*All cam lock fixings are left in closed position.
